1. Seller details

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the website https://calfergas.gr (the "Website") and purchases made through its online shop. The seller is KALLINIKOS K. - KLIRONOMOI V. FERENTINOU & SIA O.E., trading as CalferGas (the "Company", "we", "us").

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By browsing or using the Website and by placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

3. Products and prices

  • Products (tabletop appliances, cookers, ovens, hobs, BBQs, heaters, camping items, spare parts, etc.) are presented with their main characteristics. Colours and photographs may differ slightly from the actual product.
  • All prices are in euro. The Website shows prices with and without VAT; the final amount (including VAT and shipping costs) is shown before you complete your order.
  • We reserve the right to change prices and products without prior notice. The price that applies is the one at the time you submit your order.
  • If an obviously incorrect price is displayed, we may cancel the order by informing you immediately and refunding any amount already paid.

4. Placing an order and formation of the contract

  1. Select the products you want, add them to the cart and enter your delivery and billing details.
  2. Choose a shipping and payment method and check the total price.
  3. By clicking "Place order" you submit an offer to buy with an obligation to pay.
  4. You receive an email confirming your order. The contract is formed when we send you this confirmation or when we deliver the product by the chosen shipping method, whichever comes first.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for a serious reason, such as product unavailability, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud. In that case you will be informed immediately and any amount paid will be refunded.

5. Payment methods

Payment is made by one of the methods offered at checkout: [e.g. credit/debit card via (provider name), cash on delivery, bank transfer]. Card payments are processed by the payment provider; we do not store your card details. The order is processed only after payment is confirmed, where payment is made in advance.

6. Shipping and delivery

  • Shipments are made to [shipping areas: Greece / abroad] by courier [name].
  • The order is delivered within [number] working days of payment confirmation, subject to availability; otherwise you will be informed of the expected delivery time.
  • Shipping costs are shown in the cart before you complete your order: [cost table / free shipping above an amount].
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once you receive the product. Please inspect the package before signing and, if it is damaged, notify us immediately.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer (a natural person buying outside a trade or profession), you may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within fourteen (14) days of the day you (or a third party you designated) receive the product.

  • How to exercise it: submit a return request (RMA) through the Website or by email to calfer@calfergas.gr, or by a clear statement (e.g. a letter). You will receive an RMA number.
  • Returning the product: in its original packaging and with the proof of purchase, to the address we give you, within 14 days of your notice of withdrawal. The product must be unused, with no damage or wear from use beyond what is needed to inspect its nature and operation.
  • Return costs: the direct cost of returning the product is borne by [the consumer / the Company].
  • Refund: within fourteen (14) days of being notified of your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used, though we may withhold it until we have received the product or you prove that you have sent it.
  • Exceptions: products made to your specifications or personalised, and products that may not be returned for health or safety reasons once opened after delivery.
  • This provision does not apply to customers buying for business use (all other terms still apply).

8. Warranty and conformity

  • All products carry a statutory warranty of two (2) years from delivery against defects of manufacture or operation, under consumer protection legislation.
  • Products are certified and bear the CE marking in accordance with European legislation.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident or unauthorised repair/modification, nor normal wear.
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us with the proof of purchase and a description of the defect. We will reply within two (2) working days.

9. Installation and safe use

Gas appliances (LPG/natural gas) must be used with the appropriate equipment, as described in the instructions: low-pressure products require a low-pressure regulator and a butane hose; high-pressure products require a high-pressure regulator and a propane hose. Installation and connection must be carried out by a certified technician, in accordance with current legislation and the manufacturer's instructions. We are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect installation or use contrary to the instructions.

10. User account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity in your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

The Website's content (texts, photographs, logos, designs, trade names) belongs to the Company or to third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by applicable law. Reproducing or using it without prior written permission is prohibited.

12. Limitation of liability

We make every effort to keep the Website's information accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for damage caused by delay or failure not attributable to us (force majeure, carriers, network failures). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law prohibits it (e.g. statutory warranty, consumer rights).

13. Personal data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Dispute resolution

If you are not satisfied, please contact us first (tel. +30 210 41 72 045, calfer@calfergas.gr); we reply within two (2) working days. If the dispute is not resolved, you may turn to the Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) or another alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes, or go to the courts.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Greek law. For business customers the Piraeus courts have jurisdiction; consumers keep the jurisdiction given to them by law.

16. Changes

We may amend these Terms when needed. The version published at the time you submit your order applies to you.
